Jessica Abel author of Soundtrack, Mirror, Mirror, and Radio: An Illustrated Guide, the very excellent look into the production of an episode of WBEZ’s This American Life will be at Harry W. Schwartz Books this Tuesday. Her new graphic novel La Perdida, has been getting great reviews and is considered a major leap forward for her work, which I can’t wait to read.
