When I was a newspaper reporter about 20 years ago, I covered a car-deer accident in Michigan. The deer hit the windshield of a Cadillac, and ended up in the front seat. The animal was still alive, and started thrashing its legs. The hooves on a deer are very sharp, and in this case nearly decapitated the driver, who was very dead when police found him.
